मिडिल ईस्ट में अभी ठीक से शांति की शुरुआत भी नहीं हुई थी कि जंग की आग एक बार फिर भड़कती दिख रही है, सीजफायर के कुछ घंटों बाद ही इजरायल ने लेबनान पर अब तक का सबसे बड़ा हमला कर दिया, इजरायली फाइट्स जेट्स ने लेबनान में 100 ठिकानों को टारगेट करके बमबारी की, इस हमले में 250 से ज्यादा लोगों की मौत हो गई, इजरायल के इस अटैक ने ईरान को आक्रोश से भर दिया, और उसने स्ट्रेट ऑफ होर्मुज पर फिर ताला जड़ दिया, इस फैसले ने एक बार फिर दुनियाभर की टेंशन बढ़ा दी है, और सबसे ज्यादा बौखलाहट पाकिस्तान में है क्योंकि एक तरफ इजरायल ने लेबनान पर हमला करके उसके प्रधानमंत्री के दावे की हवा निकाल दी है और दूसरी ओर उसके शांति का सूत्रधार बनने के प्लान को अमेरिका और इजरायल तार-तार कर रहे हैं !

Peace in the Middle East had barely begun to take root when the flames of war appeared to flare up once again; just hours after a ceasefire, Israel launched its largest-ever attack on Lebanon. Israeli fighter jets targeted and bombed 100 sites within Lebanon, an assault that claimed the lives of over 250 people. This Israeli attack incensed Iran, prompting it to once again blockade the Strait of Hormuz. This decision has reignited global tensions, causing particular consternation in Pakistan—for on one hand, Israel’s attack on Lebanon has completely undermined the claims made by Pakistan’s Prime Minister, while on the other, the United States and Israel are systematically dismantling its plans to position itself as a mediator for peace!
