अमेरिकी प्रतिबंध हटने के बाद से भारत ने ईरान से कच्चा तेल ख़रीदना शुरू कर दिया है सात साल बाद, FELICITY नाम का एक सुपरटैंकर, ईरान के क्रूड ऑयल लेकर, आज भारत पहुंचा ईरान से तेल लेकर कई और टैंकर भारत आने के लिए तैयार हैं लेकिन अगर अमेरिका ने स्ट्रट ऑफ होर्मुज की नाकेबंदी की तो इसका असर भारत पर भी होगा ट्रंप की दादागीरी के बाद, यूरोप और मिडिल ईस्ट के कई देश अब चीन के साथ अपने रिश्ते बेहतर बनाने में जुट गए हैं स्पेन के प्रधानमंत्री पेड्रो सांचेज़ पांच दिनों के दौरे पर चीन में हैं यूनाइटेड अरब एमिरेट्स के क्राउन प्रिंस शेख़ ख़ालिद बिन मुहम्मद बिन ज़ायद अल नाहयान, चीन के दौरे पर हैं और रूस के विदेश मंत्री सर्गेई लावरोव भी चीन के दौरे पर जाने वाले हैं साफ़ है कि ट्रंप की लीडरशिप में अमेरिका जिस तरह unreliable हो गया है उसके बाद दुनिया के तमाम देश अब चीन को trusted partner मानने लगे हैं.

Following the lifting of US sanctions, India has resumed purchasing crude oil from Iran. After a hiatus of seven years, a supertanker named FELICITY, carrying Iranian crude oil, arrived in India today. Several other tankers loaded with oil from Iran are poised to head for India; however, if the United States were to blockade the Strait of Hormuz, India would also feel the repercussions. In the wake of Trump’s high-handedness, numerous countries across Europe and the Middle East have now set about strengthening their ties with China. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez is currently in China on a five-day visit; Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates, is also visiting China; and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is likewise scheduled to visit the country. It is evident that, given the unreliability the United States has demonstrated under Trump’s leadership, nations across the globe have increasingly come to view China as a trusted partner.
