पाकिस्तान के विदेश मंत्री इशाक डार ने बीजिंग में चीनी विदेश मंत्री वांग यी से मुलाकात की..दोनों नेताओं के बीच इन पांच प्वाइंट के प्रस्ताव पर बाचतीच हुई। इस प्रस्ताव में कहा गया है कि मिडिल ईस्ट में जंग को तुरंत रोका जाए…साथ ही जल्द से जल्द बातचीत की शुरुआत की जाए…गैर सैनिक टारगेट की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित की जाए…होर्मुज स्ट्रेट से जहाज़ों को स्वतंत्र रूप से गुज़रने दिया जाए…इसके लिए संयुक्त राष्ट्र चार्टर के मुताबिक काम किया जाए…दोनों देशों ने सभी पक्षों से प्रस्तावों का पालन करने का आह्वान किया..लेकिन उन्होंने किसी दूसरे ठोस कदम का उल्लेख नहीं किया। रविवार को पाकिस्तान ने घोषणा की कि वह जल्द ही अमेरिका और ईरान के बीच वार्ता की मेजबानी करेगा…हालांकि अभी तक इस बात का कोई संकेत नहीं है कि ये बातचीत कब और कहां होगी।

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing. The two leaders held discussions regarding a five-point proposal. This proposal calls for an immediate cessation of hostilities in the Middle East, the commencement of dialogue as soon as possible, the assurance of protection for non-military targets, and the unimpeded passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz; furthermore, it stipulates that actions be taken in accordance with the United Nations Charter. Both nations urged all parties to adhere to these proposals, though they did not mention any other concrete measures. On Sunday, Pakistan announced that it would soon host talks between the United States and Iran; however, there is currently no indication as to when or where these discussions will take place.
