Mamdani says he will ‘not be intimidated’ by Trump
Democratic New York mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani, a 34-year-old democratic socialist, said if he were elected, he would “not be intimidated” by President Trump. Late on November 3, Trump endorsed Mamdani’s opponent — 67-year-old former Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo, who is running as an independent — repeating his threat to cut federal funds to his native city if Mamdani wins.
