DCP Singh further stated that the incident took place near Amity University, in the Chinhat police station area. The investigation revealed that the clash stemmed from an old land dispute between Jiaul Haq and Sartaj Hussain. During the confrontation, both parties engaged in a violent altercation and opened fire on each other.
