Local pastor calling for return to death penalty for murderers
A local pastor has called on authorities to return to the death penalty for murderers.
Pastor Paul Leacock made the call at the First Baptist Church as family, friends, and members of the Bayville community gathered to say goodbye to 36-year-old Akil Hinds, who was gunned down earlier this month.
He said anyone who intentionally takes the life of another should face the ultimate punishment.
