Local creatives urged to copyright their work
Minister of Home Affairs and Information Wilfred Abrahams is urging the island’s creatives to recognise their works have a value beyond them, and they should never be afraid to put themselves out there.
Using Vincentian soca singer Kevin Lyttle, with his hit single Turn Me On, as an example, Minister Abrahams urges creatives to copyright their work to their benefit, stressing that it has value beyond their lifetime.
The Minister was speaking during his contribution to the Copyright Bill, 2025.
