Lightweight but mighty robotic hands thread needles and lift loads in China #coolchina
China’s Silicon Valley, Zhongguancun, has hosted the eponymous forum for high-tech innovation and products since 2007.

This year’s edition of the ZGC Forum, running in Beijing until Sunday, saw robotic hands that can thread a needle with human-like dexterity, and lift 50 kg loads – 135 times their own lightweight 370 grams.

In China, AI is being integrated into the physical world in areas of life where it can make a difference – healthcare, for one.

AI-powered invasive brain-computer interfaces (IBCIs) are moving from the lab to the operating theater.
