ट्रंप के इनकार के बाद जर्मनी ने यूक्रेन को पैट्रियॉट डिफेंस सिस्टम की सप्लाई कर दी है.ये हथियार यूक्रेन पहुंच चुके हैं. इसका ऐलान खुद यूक्रेन के राष्ट्रपति जेलेंस्की ने किया है. रूस के हवाई हमले तेज होने के बाद जेलेंस्की पश्चिमी देशों से अपनी रक्षा के लिए पैट्रियॉट डिफेंस सिस्टम मांग रहे थे. जब ट्रंप ने जेलेंस्की की मांग नहीं मानी तो जर्मनी ने खुद अपनी जरूरत के लिए अमेरिका से मिले इस सिस्टम को यूक्रेन भेजा है. जेलेंस्की ने अमेरिका से टॉमहॉक मिसाइल भी मांगी थी. लेकिन ट्रंप ने साफ कहा कि अभी उनका ऐसा कोई इरादा नहीं है.

When Trump refused Zelensky’s request, Germany itself sent this system, acquired from the United States, to Ukraine for its own needs. Zelensky had also requested Tomahawk missiles from the United States, but Trump clearly stated that he had no such intention at this time.
