जम्मू-कश्मीर की चार राज्यसभा सीटों पर हुए चुनाव में तीन पर सत्तारूढ़ नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस और एक पर बीजेपी को जीत मिली है. सीएम उमर अब्दुल्ला बीजेपी की जीत से खुश नहीं है. दरअसल मौजूदा समय में जम्मू-कश्मीर में बीजेपी के 27 विधायक हैं जबकि राज्यसभा चुनाव में पांच वोट अतिरिक्त मिले. इन्हीं पांच वोट की बदौलत बीजेपी राज्यसभा की एक सीट जीतने पर कामयाब रही और नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस के मंसूबों पर पानी फेर दिया। किस पार्टी और किन पांच विधायकों ने बीजेपी के लिए क्रॉस वोट किया इसकी जानकारी नहीं मिल पाई है लेकिन सीएम अब्दुल्ला को शक है कि विपक्षी दलों के विधायकों ने बीजेपी का साथ दिया है.

Currently, the BJP has 27 MLAs in Jammu and Kashmir, while it received five additional votes in the Rajya Sabha elections.
