ऑपरेशन सिंदूर में मिली हार के बाद मुनीर को एक और इनाम मिलने जा रहा है. जनरल मुनीर का कार्यकाल इसी साल 28 नवंबर को खत्म हो रहा है. लेकिन शहबाज शरीफ मुनीर का कार्यकाल बढ़ाने के लिए इतने बेकरार हैं कि 27वां संविधान संशोधन लाने की तैयारी कर रहे हैं. दरअसल 2024 में पाकिस्तान में तीनों आर्मी चीफ के रिटायरमेंट से जुड़े नियमों में बदलाव किया गया था. इसके मुताबिक तीनों आर्मी चीफ का कार्यकाल तीन साल से बढ़ाकर पांच साल कर दिया था. लेकिन पाकिस्तान के संविधान में फील्ड मार्शल के कार्यकाल को लेकर कुछ स्पष्ट नहीं है. इसलिए शहबाज अब संविधान संशोधन बिल की तैयारी कर रहे है.

After the defeat in Operation Sindoor, Munir is set to receive another reward. General Munir’s tenure ends on November 28th of this year. However, Shahbaz Sharif is so eager to extend Munir’s tenure that he is preparing to introduce the 27th Constitutional Amendment. In 2024, changes were made to the retirement rules for the three army chiefs in Pakistan. According to this amendment, the tenure of the three army chiefs was increased from three years to five years. However, the Pakistani Constitution is unclear regarding the tenure of a Field Marshal. Therefore, Shahbaz is now preparing a constitutional amendment bill.
