Jammu and Kashmir has the only rabbit farm of its kind, where hundreds of rabbits are reared. This farm is located in the Wusan area of Pattan in the Baramulla district. Thousands of rabbits of various breeds from different countries are raised here. Government employees regularly perform their duties at the farm, taking care of and breeding the rabbits. Among the different breeds kept at the farm, the German, French, Soviet Chinchilla, and Californian breeds are particularly noteworthy.
