J&K HC Upholds Ban on 25 Books | Promoting Separatism Allegation | No Stay on Govt Order | News 18
The Jammu and Kashmir High Court has refused to stay the government’s order banning 25 books.
The books were banned in August on charges of promoting separatism and terrorism.
The court observed that the government has the authority to ban any material that threatens national integrity.
With this, the administration’s action has gained judicial backing.
