The first charter flight, carrying 127 Italian citizens stranded in Oman — or moved there from Dubai, landed in Rome late on March 2. The operation came as Italy works to repatriate its citizens stuck in the Middle East following the U.S.-Israeli strike on Iran and the subsequent escalation in the region.
