Israeli strikes rattle Hezbollah stronghold in Beirut
At least 700,000 people have been displaced from southern Beirut as Israel continues to strike parts of the city. On March 9, Israel hit several bank branches it accused of funding Hezbollah, a militant group and Iran ally. CBC’s Susan Ormiston was in the southern suburbs when some of the bombs hit.
