Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has sent a delegation to Egypt to finalise details of the hostage release agreement with Hamas. Netanyahu emphasised that Israel “won’t tolerate any more delays”.
According to Major General AK Siwach (Retd), “There are a few remaining issues that need to be resolved before Hamas can agree to the ceasefire”.
The development comes as part of intense international mediation efforts to end the nearly two-year war in Gaza and secure the safe return of all hostages taken in the October 7, 2023 attack.
