The United States has revoked the Green Card of the niece of Iran’s former commander, Qasem Soleimani; she must now leave the country. The Green Card belonging to Qasem Soleimani’s niece, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar, has been cancelled. Qasem Soleimani was killed in a U.S. strike in January 2020. Currently, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter are in the custody of U.S. federal agencies. According to the U.S. Department of State, Afshar’s husband has also been barred from entering the United States.
