रूस के राष्ट्रपति पुतिन बहुत गुस्से में है और ये गुस्सा युद्ध के मैदान में दिख भी रहा है. यूक्रेन इस वक्त धुआं धुआं है. क्रीमिया, खेरसॉन, जपोरिजिया, डोनेट्स्क, लुहांस्क के बड़े हिस्से पर पुतिन का कब्जा हो चुका है. पुतिन यहां भी रुकने को तैयार नहीं है. लगातार आगे बढ़ रहे हैं. दावा किया जा रहा है कि पिछले दो सप्ताह में पुतिन यूक्रेन की धरती पर 3500 ड्रोन, 2500 बम और 200 मिसाइल दाग चुके हैं. दूसरी ओर जेलेंस्की क्लियर कह चुके हैं कि अगर उन्हें हथियार नहीं मिले तो बाजी हाथ से निकल सकती है. जेलेंस्की को अमेरिका से एयर डिफेंस सिस्टम चाहिए. आर्टिलरी, इंटरसेप्टर, रॉकेट समेत तमाम हथियार चाहिए और अमेरिका ने इस डिमांड को मंजूर कर लिया है.
