पाकिस्तान और सऊदी अरब के बीच एक बड़ा डिफेंस एग्रीमेंट हुआ है. पाकिस्तान और सऊदी अरब ने, strategic mutual defence aggreement किया है. इस समझौते में कहा गया है कि अगर पाकिस्तान और सऊदी अरब में किसी एक देश पर हमला होता है, तो उसे दूसरे देश पर भी हमला माना जाएगा और दोनों देश मिलकर उस हमले का जवाब देंगे. रियाद में सऊदी अरब के क्राउन प्रिंस और प्राइम मिनिस्टर मुहम्मद बिन सलमान और पाकिस्तान के वज़ीर-ए-आज़म शहबाज़ शरीफ़ ने इस समझौते पर दस्तख़त किए. इस एग्रीमेंट की साइनिंग सेरेमनी के वक़्त पाकिस्तान के आर्मी चीफ, आसिम मुनीर भी मौजूद थे. सऊदी अरब ने कहा है कि ये समझौता किसी देश के ख़िलाफ़ नहीं है. दोनों देशों के बीच लंबे वक्त से इस समझौते की बातचीत चल रही थी. लेकिन geopolitics के एक्सपर्ट्स का कहना है कि जिस तरह इज़राइल ने कतर पर अटैक किया.उसके बाद middle east के देशों को अपनी सुरक्षा की फ़िक्र सताने लगी है. इसीलिए सऊदी ने पाकिस्तान के साथ एग्रीमेंट किया.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have signed a major defense agreement. The two countries have entered into a strategic mutual defense agreement. This agreement stipulates that if one of the two countries is attacked, it will be considered an attack on the other, and both countries will respond jointly. The agreement was signed in Riyadh by Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Pakistan’s Army Chief, Asim Munir, was also present at the signing ceremony. Saudi Arabia has stated that this agreement is not directed against any other country. Discussions for this agreement had been ongoing between the two countries for some time. However, geopolitical experts say that following Israel’s actions against Qatar, Middle Eastern countries have become increasingly concerned about their security, and this is why Saudi Arabia entered into this agreement with Pakistan.
