In Delhi, the country’s biggest cyber fraud: A retired, elderly banker was tricked out of 23 crore rupees by fraudsters who pretended to arrest him digitally. The scam, which lasted for a month, used the threat of fake CBI and ED (Enforcement Directorate) actions to extort the money.
