प्रधानसेवक, यह शब्द नरेंद्र मोदी ने 2014 में Coin किया था. 2014 यानी वो साल जब देश को 30 साल बाद पहली बार कोई बहुमत वाला प्रधानमंत्री मिला था. मोदी की जगह कोई दूसरा नेता तो देश पर शासन करने की सोचता. नरेंद्र मोदी ने शासन की जगह दूसरा सेवा वाला रास्ता चुना. प्रधानमंत्री ने अपने लिए एक शब्द बनाया- प्रधानसेवक. यह शब्द तो कोई भी बना सकता था, लेकिन इसके पीछे का जो भाव है, वो बनाना बहुत मुश्किल होता. आज जब मोदी को पीएम ऑफिस में सवा ग्यारह साल हो चुके हैं, तब मोदी नहीं, बल्कि उनके करोड़ों समर्थक कहते हैं कि हां नरेंद्र मोदी ने देश की सेवा की, मोदी ने हमारी सेवा की.

“Pradhan Sevak” (Chief Servant) is a term coined by Narendra Modi in 2014. 2014 was the year when India, after 30 years, finally had a prime minister with a majority in Parliament. Any other leader in Modi’s place would have focused on ruling the country. But Narendra Modi chose the path of service instead of rule. The Prime Minister coined the term “Pradhan Sevak” for himself. Anyone could have coined that term, but the sentiment and meaning behind it is something very difficult to achieve. Today, after more than eleven and a half years in office, it is not Modi himself, but his millions of supporters who say that yes, Narendra Modi has served the nation; Modi has served us.
