महागठबंधन में न अब तक सीटों का बंटवारा हो पाया है, न उम्मीदवारों की लिस्ट आई है. हालांकि RJD और लैफ्ट के उम्मीदवारों ने नॉमीनेशन करना शुरू कर दिए हैं, लेकिन कांग्रेस अभी भी मोलतोल में जुटी है. कांग्रेस नेताओं की मीटिंग हुई, दावा किया गया कि कुल 61 उम्मीदवारों के नाम तय हो गए हैं. चार एक्स्ट्रा कैंडिडेट भी फाइनल हैं., अगर बात बन जाती है तो कांग्रेस 64 सीटों पर लड़ेगी वरना 61 पर लड़ना तो तय है. हालांकि कांग्रेस की तरफ से कोई औपचारिक एलान नहीं किया गया है.

The Grand Alliance has yet to finalize seat sharing, nor has a list of candidates been released. While RJD and Left parties have begun filing nominations, Congress is still engaged in negotiations. Congress leaders held a meeting, claiming that a total of 61 candidates have been finalized. Four additional candidates are also finalized. If a deal is finalized, Congress will contest 64 seats, otherwise, it is certain to contest 61. However, no formal announcement has been made by Congress.
