बीजेपी ने आज जिन 71 सीटों पर उम्मीदवारों के नामों का एलान किया है. उसमें कुछ बातें गौर करने वाली हैं. पहली ये कि इस बार बीजेपी ऐसी कुछ सीटों पर चुनाव लड़ेगी. जो अब तक JDU के पास थी. उदाहरण के तौर पर तारापुर सीट इस सीट पर JDU के राजीव कुमार सिंह सिटिंग MLA हैं. लेकिन अब ये सीट बीजेपी के खाते में चली गई है. और डिप्टी चीफ मिनिस्टर सम्राट चौधरी तारापुर से बीजेपी के उम्मीदवार होंगे. बिहार के दूसरे डिप्टी चीफ मिनिस्टर विजय कुमार सिंन्हा को उनकी पुरानी सींट लखीसराय से ही मैदान में उतारा गया है. आज बीजेपी ने जिन 71 उम्मीदवारों का एलान किया है..उनमें दोनों डिप्टी चीफ मिनिस्टर के अलावा एक फॉर्मर डिप्टी सीएम और 6 मंत्री शामिल हैं. पूर्व उप मुख्यमंत्री तारकिशोर प्रसाद कटिहार की अपनी ट्रेडिशनल सीट से ही चुनाव लड़ेंगे. बड़ी बात ये है कि 71 में से 53 सीटों पर बीजेपी ने उम्मीदवारों को रिपीट किया है.
The BJP announced its candidates for 71 seats today. A few things are worth noting. First, this time the BJP will contest some seats that were previously held by the JDU. For example, the Tarapur seat, where Rajiv Kumar Singh of the JDU is the sitting MLA, has now gone to the BJP. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary will be the BJP candidate from Tarapur. Bihar’s second Deputy Chief Minister, Vijay Kumar Sinha, has been fielded from his former seat, Lakhisarai. The 71 candidates announced today include the two deputy chief ministers, a former deputy chief minister, and six ministers. Former Deputy Chief Minister Tarkishore Prasad will contest from his traditional seat of Katihar. Significantly, the BJP has repeated candidates in 53 of the 71 seats.
