दिल्ली क्राइम ब्रांच की टीम ने…सदर बाजार इलाके में छापा मार कर भारी मात्रा में नकली कोल्ड ड्रिंक बरामद की है.. साथ ही एक्सपायरी बेबी फूड-चॉकलेट में डेट बदल कर…नया बारकोड लगाने और एस्पायरी फूड प्रोडक्ट्स को खपाने वाले गैंग का पर्दाफाश हुआ है..ये गैंग विदेशों से बड़े ब्रैंड्स के उन प्रोडक्ट्स को सस्ते में खरीदता था जो या तो एक्सपायर्ड होते थे या जिनकी एक्सपायरी डेट करीब होती थी…इसके बाद उसके लेबल…बैच नंबर…एक्सपायरी डेट यहां तक कि QR कोड भी बदलकर नई पैकेजिंग के साथ उसे बाजार में महंगे दाम पर बेच देते थे…दिल्ली समेत देश के बड़े मॉल्स और ऑनलाइन प्लेटफॉर्म्स से एक्सपायर्ड प्रोडक्ट सप्लाई किया जाता था..पुलिस ने मौके से भारी मात्रा में फूड प्रोडक्ट्स बरामग कर..7 आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया है…

A team from the Delhi Crime Branch raided the Sadar Bazaar area and recovered a large quantity of counterfeit cold drinks. They also busted a gang that was altering the expiry dates on expired baby food and chocolates, applying new barcodes, and selling these expired food products. This gang would buy products from major brands abroad at cheap prices, either because they were expired or nearing their expiry date. They would then change the labels, batch numbers, expiry dates, and even the QR codes, repackage the products, and sell them at high prices in the market. These expired products were being supplied to major malls and online platforms across the country, including Delhi. Police recovered a large quantity of food products from the scene and arrested seven accused.
