जम्मू-कश्मीर के कटरा में बने श्री माता वैष्णोदेवी इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मेडिकल एक्सीलेंस में एडमिशन को लेकर विवाद की…जिसमें आज मुख्यमंत्री उमर अब्दुल्ला के बयान के बाद एक बार फिर तनातनी तय है…इस साल कॉलेज में जब MBBS स्टूडेंट्स का एडमिशन हुआ तो 50 में से 42 कश्मीरी मुसलमानों को दाखिला मिला…कॉलेज में गैर हिंदू सिर्फ 8 स्टूडेंट हैं…बजरंग दल, डोगरा फ्रंट समेत तमाम हिंदू संगठन इसका विरोध कर रहे हैं…और अब मुख्यमंत्री उमर अब्दुल्ला ने तो इतना तक कह दिया है कि कॉलेज सरकारी फंड और अनुदान लेना बंद कर दे…या तो जमीन के पैसे सरकार को दे…

There’s a controversy surrounding admissions at the Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Institute of Medical Excellence in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir… Tensions are set to flare once again after Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s statement today. This year, when MBBS students were admitted to the college, 42 out of 50 were Kashmiri Muslims. Only eight non-Hindu students are admitted to the college. Several Hindu organizations, including the Bajrang Dal and the Dogra Front, are protesting this. And now Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has even gone so far as to demand that the college stop accepting government funds and grants… or else hand over the money for the land to the government.
