India US Trade Deal | Pharma Sector Big Winner From India-US Trade Pact, Says Market Expert
How should investors read the India-US trade deal through a market lens? Senio market voice, N Jayakumar, Managing Director, Prime Securities, says the biggest takeaway is that uncertainty is finally out of the way. He believes foreign money that exited India over the last year is beginning to return as fears of India getting a raw deal ease. After being among the worst-performing markets globally, Indian equities appear to have hit both a technical and sentiment bottom. While valuations still need to be watched, the expert argues the trade pact has come at the right time, when investor fatigue was peaking. One clear beneficiary, he says, is the pharmaceutical sector, which gains significantly from the agreement. The message, stability is back, and selective opportunities are emerging.
