Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Todd Lyons told lawmakers that his agency will play “a key part of the overall security apparatus” for the 2026 World Cup. Lyons was asked by House Democrat Nellie Pou if he realized that fear of ICE actions could be a concern for visitors.
