Hurricane hunters tossed by turbulence while flying into eye of Hurricane Melissa
Dramatic footage shows a flight crew fighting intense turbulence as they collected data from the eye of Hurricane Melissa over the Caribbean Sea.

The video, captured aboard the Lockheed WP-3D Orion aircraft, Kermit, was released by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Aircraft Operations Center.
