How Gen Z sees the world: A Kazakh youth’s view on China’s green development
The Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2026 will be held from March 24 to 27 in Boao, south China’s Hainan Province. Under the theme “Shaping a Shared Future: New Dynamics, New Opportunities, and New Cooperation,” this year’s conference will host nearly 50 sub-forums, roundtable discussions, dialogues and other activities.

In this video, Milla, a student from Kazakhstan at Tsinghua University, shares her perspective on China’s green development and the application of new energy in everyday life, including the use of hydrogen-energy vehicles. “This made me realize that technologies we once only read about in textbooks are slowly becoming a part of everyday life,” she said.
