Hot off the press: Watch as the NYT prints Mamdani victory
The New York Times rolled the presses on the evening of November 4 after New York City voters elected 34-year-old Democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani as the city’s next mayor.
At a sprawling printing press in New York City’s Queens neighborhood, front pages showing Mamdani’s photo and the headline on his victory were locked into plates, inked and fed into massive presses before getting loaded onto trucks for early morning deliveries.
