Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Israel on February 25 for a two-day state visit, marking a significant moment in India–Israel ties. On Day 2, he held delegation-level talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, where discussions covered technology and innovation, AI, critical minerals, defence and security, trade, labour mobility, education, agriculture, health, and the blue economy.

Both leaders elevated bilateral ties to a Special Strategic Partnership for Peace, Innovation and Prosperity, signalling deeper cooperation across sectors. They also agreed to accelerate progress on a mutually beneficial Free Trade Agreement.

Addressing a joint press statement, PM Modi reaffirmed India’s support for peace in Gaza, stating that “humanity must never become a victim of conflict.” He noted that India supports dialogue and constructive efforts aimed at regional stability.
