Hindustan Times Japan Expressway Crash: Massive 56-Vehicle Crash On Japan’s Gunma Highway Kills 1, Injures 26

A massive 56-vehicle pile-up occurred on the Kan-etsu Expressway in Gunma, Japan, on Friday evening. The crash, triggered when two trucks skidded on icy roads, caused over 10 vehicles to catch fire. One woman died and 26 people were injured. A section of the highway remains closed, with travelers advised to use alternative routes as authorities work to clear the wreckage.
