Residents of Montego Bay in north-west Jamaica described the ‘terrifying’ experience of living through Hurricane Melissa.

Gabrielle, a 31-year-old resident of the Catherine Hall neighbourhood said she and her four-year-old daughter had to be rescued when flood water poured into their home.
