World Series: Blue Jays’ Clement says “lot to be proud of” this season, thanks “awesome” fans
Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Ernie Clement spoke to Global News after a crushing Game 7 World Series defeat to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday.
“I feel a lot of emotions, but I feel a lot of gratefulness for just getting to be part of this. This is exactly what I’ve always dreamed of: To play in the major leagues, to play in the playoffs, to play in the World Series,” Clement told Global News’ Nicole di Donato.
“It’s not all sadness.”
