“This is their peace”: Kyiv resident reacts after overnight Russian attacks across Ukraine
Ukrainian officials said Wednesday that Russian attacks had killed six people, including two children, in Kyiv and the nearby region.
 
Some of the building’s residents said they did not believe Russia intends to strike a peace deal any time soon and added: “We have a ruined building. This is it, this is their peace… this is their peace.”
 
Another drone struck near an apartment building in Sumy, Ukraine, injuring nine people. Meanwhile, 13 people were wounded in Zaporizhzhia region.
 
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that U.S. President Donald Trump’s call for Ukraine and Russia to stop at the current frontlines was “a good compromise.” But Zelenskyy said he doubted that Russian President Vladimir Putin would support it.
