“This is pathetic”: Poilievre criticizes Carney on speed of national projects
Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre criticized Prime Minister Mark Carney on Thursday for the speed in which major projects have not been approved, as the government released its first list of projects to be fast tracked.
“This is pathetic,” Poilievre said in Woodbridge, Ont.
Poilievre said despite promises to move with “unimaginable speed” on infrastructure projects, Carney has “not approved a single national project anywhere in Canada.”
He went on to say in order to improve building in Canada, the federal government needs to “get out of the way” and repeal bills he calls “anti-development.”
