Montreal mom who abandoned daughter must stay in psychiatric care, judge rules
A Montreal mother who was found not criminally responsible for abandoning her daughter in a field on the side of an Ontario highway in June has been ordered by a judge to remain in a psychiatric hospital for at least 90 more days.

The woman’s name is under a publication ban to protect her child’s identity.
