“I’m truly sorry”: Prince Harry apologizes to Toronto for wearing Dodgers hat, blames bald spot
During a charity tribute dinner for veterans in Toronto Thursday, Prince Harry addressed the “blue-hatted elephant in the room,” apologizing to Torontonians for wearing an LA Dodgers hat during the Game 4 of the World Series last month.
Harry joked that the attire helped cover his “ever-increasing” bald spot from “900,000” floodlights.
After seven games, the Blue Jays lost to the LA Dodgers at Rogers Centre in Toronto earlier this month. Married to California-native Meghan Markle – who has her own history with Toronto – Harry explained to guests why they supported the Dodgers.
