“Enough is enough”: Doug Ford slams Canada’s “weak” criminal code following deadly home invasion
Ontario Premier Doug Ford slammed the federal government on Tuesday over the “weak criminal code that needs to be changed.”
 
“We’re sick and tired of seeing these criminals getting out on bail,” Ford said, adding, “This doesn’t happen just once in a blue moon; it occurs multiple times a day, every single night across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.”
 
This statement came after Ford was asked about Abdul Aleem Farooqi, who was confirmed to be the victim of a deadly home invasion on Saturday.
