“Dumb as a bag of hammers”: Doug Ford dumps out bottle of Crown Royal in protest of plant closure
Ontario Premier Doug Ford dumped out an entire a bottle of Crown Royal whisky at an unrelated news conference Tuesday in protest of Diageo’s ceasing of its operations at its bottling facility in Amherstburg, Ont.
 
In a message to the CEO of Crown Royal, Ford said, “You hurt my people, I’m going to hurt you.”
 
He further criticized the company, saying, “You guys are as dumb as a bag of hammers for doing this,” adding that they are targeting “the largest customer” in North America.
