Dozens dead after Sudan mosque hit by paramilitary drone strike
At least 70 people died in a paramilitary drone strike that destroyed a mosque in Sudan’s besieged city of El-Fasher.
The attack took place Friday and is the worst atrocity reported in a country plagued by more than two and a half years of war.
The United Nations says levels of violence against civilians in Sudan is only getting worse with more than 3,000 killings in the first half of this year alone.
As Redmond Shannon reports, the real toll is likely higher.
