Cory Booker bashes FBI head Kash Patel for “failing as a leader”
Sen. Cory Booker laid into FBI Director Kash Patel with a series of criticisms for what he called leadership failures during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday at the Capitol.
“I believe you’re failing as a leader and that your failure does have serious implications for the safety and security of Americans and our families,” he said.
“In the words of an ex-FBI official, you are overseeing, and I quote, generational destruction of the nation’s premier law enforcement agency,” he added.
Booker also said he did not have faith that Patel would be around for another hearing as U.S. President Donald Trump would likely “cut him loose,” for being unfit for the job.
