Senior Canadian officials were in Washington, D.C., Wednesday to talk trade and border security with their American counterparts.

Those talks are happening after Prime Minister Mark Carney promised to drop counter-tariffs on all goods covered by the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) agreement.
