Global NewsWarm weather stalls opening of Marmot Basin ski resort, delays winter activities in Jasper

Marmot Basin is the lifeblood of Jasper National Park in the winter, but right now, there’s just not enough snow in the mountains to allow for skiing – or any other winter sport.

The town is working hard to find other activities that take advantage of the unseasonably warm weather.
