In the U.S., a judge has dismissed all criminal charges against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James. Both Comey and James have been critics of President Donald Trump and argued that the charges against them were politically motivated.

They contended that President Trump had specifically chose the prosecutor who pursued these cases. The judge who dismissed the charges described them as “unlawful exercises of executive power.”
