U.S. President Donald Trump slammed “politically correct” politics in his tribute to American soldiers at Arlington Cemetery on Tuesday, telling those gathered that when America fights a war, “we only fight for one reason. We fight to win.”

The president announced he would rename Veterans Day in the U.S., instead calling it “Victory Day.”

“From now on, we’re going to be celebrating Victory Day for World War I, for World War II, and frankly, for everything else,” he said.

Trump marked the occasion by laying a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery.
