Global NewsKing Charles leads Remembrance Sunday ceremony at London’s Cenotaph
King Charles led proceedings at the Cenotaph on Sunday for the Remembrance Sunday service in London, England.
Queen Camilla, Princess Kate, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, Prince Edward and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer also took part in the ceremony.
First celebrated on Nov. 11, 1919, Remembrance Day, then known as Armistice Day, honoured the end of fighting in World War I. Today, the holiday remembers all those who served and died in all conflicts and wars.
