Global News”Just unimaginable”: Woman recounts 2 helicopters colliding and crashing in her backyard

One person has died and another person is in critical condition after two helicopters collided mid-air and crashed in Hammonton, N.J., on Sunday. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, only the pilots were on board each aircraft.

“It’s just unimaginable,” said Caitlyn Collins, a homeowner who rushed to the crash site when the two helicopters crashed in her backyard. “They say it hits close to home, like, it’s in my backyard, and we had to watch it all unfold and … someone’s not going home to their family tonight.”

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.
