The United States is offering a $15 million reward for information leading to the arrest of Ryan Wedding, a Canadian accused of running one of the most violent trans-national drug trafficking organizations. Wedding is accused of ordering the murder of a federal witness in Colombia in January to try to avoid extradition. The Thunder Bay, Ont., native who competed for Canada as a snowboarder at the 2002 Winter Olympics has been on the FBI’s most wanted list since March. This week, seven Canadians were arrested, accused of being part of his network. Touria Izri reports.
Global News has learned of alleged Canadian links to the operations of the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas. Among them, a Canadian is alleged to be part of the Hamas executive team and runs the groups investment office which funds operations. Jeff Semple is following the money trail.
