Global NewsEl Mencho: How Mexican drug cartel leader was captured, killed

Unrest is spreading through parts of Mexico after the Mexican Army’s killing of Nemesio ‘El Mencho’ Oseguera Cervantes, the leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).

At least 73 people, including 25 of Mexico’s National Guard members, were killed in a shootout trying to capture El Mencho.
